The couple’s dream of a wedding day in Lake Como
Martina and Luca contacted us to plan, manage and coordinate their beautiful wedding in Lake Como. They needed an expert planning agency to step in and realize their dream day, leaving them free from worries and doubts.
Our wedding planning division took care of every detail collaborating closely with the couple during the entire process. From the concept design to the selection of the wedding vendors, our mission was to create an exclusive event with accents also from the south of Italy.
Ceremony in Milan, reception by Lake Como
The first event of the day was the religious ceremony in Milan. Martina and Luca selected a romantic church in the city center and involved some friends in the readings at the altar to make the atmosphere even more intimate and charming.
After the ceremony, everyone moved to the wedding reception: Serre Ratti, a greenhouse of 500 sqm by Lake Como. The venue could comfortably accommodate all the guests in its large garden and the indoor open space.
Concept design and decoration at the wedding venue
Being October, we needed a covered space to host the dinner and eventually shelter guests from bad weather: Serre Ratti was simply perfect.
Luckly, the wedding day was sunny and warm so everyone could enjoy an aperitif in the garden. Here there were couches and tables reminding of Sicily, honoring the origins of the bride. Food and lighting design were inspired by southern-Italy traditions too with big colored lights placed both in the garden and in the dinner area.
The wedding dinner and entertainment
Dinner was served on long imperial tables. The placeholders were original majolica that guests could keep as a memory of the event and that gave the right twist to the already flowery and colored table set up, made out of the ordinary with tumblers of all different colors and charger in rafia.
The wedding of Martina and Luca was a fun and lively experience. The Sicilian vibes of the decorations were appreciated by all the guests, same was the entertainment with close-up magic tricks, fireworks, music, and a DJ. The dancing party was the grand finale of a beautiful celebration. The couple and their guests enjoyed the music, a lot of sweets, and drinks until late at night.
